The town has seen its fair share of history; the walls of the parish church are pit-marked with dents from civil war cannons. Plus, Oliver Cromwell was said to have stayed near the town centre during the war. Warrington is now a bustling new town that boasts a number of attractions and sites.
House prices have crept back since the 2008 recession and it doesn’t seem to be stopping.
